Why does money burn a whole in my pocket?

I'm trying to save money but it seems like every time I want to save I run into the freshest gear...very lame b/c now all I want to do is spend. Maybe ill just go to the stores and envision myself buying the clothes hopefully that'll make me feel like I experienced it without buying anything. Ha ha.
